What’s New
DEFYING THE DIVA, my new YA novel is out. I’ve spent a lot of time this year traveling to workshops and conferences to talk about the book and to discuss my two favorite topics—books and writing! Thanks to my readers who have written to me about this book. I’m thrilled to know that it’s making a difference, and that readers are enjoying the cameo appearance of Phoebe Trask, whose story is told in PICTURE PERFECT.
SEMIPRECIOUS continues to generate a good deal of reader mail. A thousand thanks to all my readers who have embraced Garnet and Opal and their story, and to those who have spotted the clue about what happened to Opal in the pages of DEFYING THE DIVA. It’s great fun revisiting my characters in other books.
Foreign sales for HYPATIA continue. In addition to those previously announced, we recently accepted an offer from Greece, Hypatia’s home country. How cool is that?
Big news on the home front: Last fall we added a second golden retriever to our family, an adorable puppy named Jake. Check out his picture on my Biography page.
Bigger news: After three years in Ohio, we are on our way back home to the Texas Hill Country. Stay tuned!
